About Me

Hi, I'm Janice (Meng Yang), a Melbourne-based counsellor offering individual counselling in English and Mandarin.I hold a Master of Counselling from Monash University and am an ACA Registered Counsellor. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 17 years working across different industries and cities in China, including senior management roles in Fortune 500 companies. My professional and life experiences have given me a grounded understanding of workplace pressure, responsibility, changing relationships, career transitions, and the way work can become closely tied to our sense of identity. In my early forties, I made a major transition of my own — leaving a long-established corporate path and rebuilding my professional life in Australia as a counsellor. That experience continues to shape the way I understand change, uncertainty and what it means to begin again.

Professional training. Real-world experience. A first-hand understanding of change.
